§ 100-1. Declaration of purpose.

The enactment of this chapter is not intended as an exercise of any power of the City or the City Council but rather to establish, in a public document, the independent legal status of the Board of Trustees of the Lebanon Library under RSA Chapter 202-A. For this purpose, the chapter specifically provides for the agreement of the Lebanon Library Board of Trustees. The provisions of this chapter are intended to be a declaration of applicable state law as to the operation of the Lebanon Library and the Lebanon Board of Trustees.
